Our miner software achieves the best performance on SIMD architecture AMD Graphics Core Next videocards – that is AMD Radeon HD 7730 and above. It also works on older VLIW architecture (all prior AMD generations).

Important: you should always check how much power the videocard is consuming. It may be unprofitable for you to mine BTC and instead cheaper to just buy it.

 

A word of warning on overclocking your GPUs: overclocking usually means more power consumption. It may turn out that you achieved 10% better result with overclocking, but your electricity consumption increased by 12%. So you’re actually now making less profit. Please have a wattmeter when doing overclocking to know if it is good for your hardware. A lot of professional miners actually underclock and undervoltage their videocards to get the best speed / power ratio.

You can provide additional parameters like in normal sgminer. Most of parameters are supported. Only worksize is no longer used.

To achieve better speed, you might try increasing intensity (-I or –intensity parameter) or overclocking your card (–gpu-engine parameter).

Make sure your rig is stable after overclocking. For example, it may run only for a few hours and then crash the computer.

Also make sure you have enough ventilation when overclocking and increasing the powertune setting. Open case rig usually provides better results.

You can supply extensive parameters to control how the fans work.
